Take time to discuss the trip with your students.  Teachers should have students describe their experience either be talking, writing or drawing about the visit.

Teachers should encourage students to share the experience with their families.  Discuss the other opportunities at the farm including upcoming programs, hiking trails and annual festivals.

Allow students to use their imagination and creativity.  Create a game or project for the students. For example, teachers can have the students design one item or piece of machinery that would improve life on the farm.
