Our volunteer opportunities at Muscoot Farm are an individualized approach tailored to what each volunteer would like to accomplish to help the farm. Requiring a consistent time commitment and dedicated volunteers, these opportunities can range from helping out with everything from our trails, buildings, garden, and more. Please note that if you are looking to engage with and meet our animals up close, we suggest you consider registering for our Morning Farm Chores or Animal Interactions programs.
Want to help but can't volunteer consistently?
For anyone who would like to help and support our farm, but cannot commit to a consistent schedule, we are always looking for volunteers to help out with our special events throughout the year like Muscoot's annual Pumpkin Picking Fundraiser and our Holiday Lights on the Farm. These volunteers dedicate their time by manning booths, managing crowds, preparing and cleaning up after events, etc. If you are interested in this type of volunteering, please specify so on our Volunteer Form so that we may reach out closer to our event dates with more details.

Interested in trail maintenance?
Trails are regularly checked and maintained by members of the New York/New Jersey Trail Conference who also carry out trail maintenance and repair at many other Westchester County Parks. For more information please check out their website.
