Hiking Trails
Spanning 777 acres, Muscoot Farm is so much more than just our farm proper. With over 7 miles of hiking trails, there's no shortage of exploration around the park! While you're at it, have a picnic by our gazebo overlooking the picturesque hayfields that lead out to the trails! There are a variety of trails for all abilities, with easily customizable hikes so that you can shorten or lengthen your trek on-the-go! Check out our trail map below.
Our trails are maintained by volunteers as well as our staff. If you happen across any hazard while on the trails, please call the farm at (914) 864-7286 and take a picture so that we may assist and continue to keep our trails safe for all to use.
As a reminder, no dogs are allowed on the premises, including the hiking trails, and all trails are only open to use from 10am to 4pm. Happy hiking!
Accessible Hikes
Accessible hikes are offered by the Westchester Parks Foundation as part of their Trails Without Limits program for individuals who may be living with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, amputation, paraplegia, arthritis, cardiac issues, joint replacements, or have other mobility concerns.
Utilizing an All-Terrain Trackchair, individuals with their family, friends, and/or caregiver, will experience an approximately 1-2 mile hike guided with a volunteer to assist with using the chair if needed at no cost.
Trails Without Limits rotates throughout Westchester County Parks from March through November. To register, please visit www.thewpf.org/trailswithoutlimits.
